Audie-nominated Australian narrator

Native Australian | comedic timing | nuanced Dialect work

I am an audiobook narrator, voice artist, dialect coach, and voice teacher based in Cincinnati, Ohio and originally from Sydney, Australia.

Over the past decade, I've narrated 200+ audiobooks for publishers including Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster, Macmillan, HarperCollins, and Hachette. My work has earned three Audie Award nominations and eight AudioFile/Kirkus Reviews Earphones Awards, including roles in Charlotte McConaghy's Wild Dark Shore (a Reese's Book Club pick, 2026 Audiobook of the Year Audie nomination) and Geraldine Brooks' Horse (2023 Literary Fiction Audie Nomination).

An accent chameleon, I frequently narrate across American, UK, and Australian accents. Outside of the recording studio, I enjoy exploring Cincinnati’s many arts festivals, playing RPGs, and knitting jumpers for my tiny dog.

stories I love to tell

  • Queer/feminist sci-fi and fantasy

  • Literary fiction with unlikeable protagonists

  • Chatty non-fiction

  • Humour balanced with tragedy and vice versa.

What’s it like to work with Kat?

Kat voices Rae in Misfit Village’s Go Home Annie

“I've had the tremendous pleasure of directing Katherine for the videogame Go Home Annie. She was an absolute delight to work with in every sense. Her ability to take direction but make the character her own within those guidelines was simply marvelous. And oh, seeing her switch accents so seamlessly practically midst sentence is a miracle to behold. I cannot recommend Katherine enough and I look forward to collaborating with her again in the future.”

— Lovro Golac, Misfit Village

  • “The tone of voice of a great audiobook narrator can make you feel like you’re having a chat with a friend… while listening to Australian author Nina Kenwood’s YA romcom It Sounded Better in My Head, I couldn’t stop laughing.”

—Megan Mabee, BookRiot “On the Companionship of Audiobooks and Podcasts”

  • “Katherine Littrell's exceptional performance transforms this dialogue-rich MeToo novel into an audiobook that shows how a skilled narrator can create memorable and, at times, contemptible, characters that raise a book to a higher level.”

—29 Seconds by TM Logan, Kirkus Reviews

  • “Katherine Littrell is a great narrator, so much so, I can’t wait to listen to more of her books.”

—@becauseaudiobooks review, Maybe Once Maybe Twice by Alison Rose Greenberg

  • “Katherine Littrell gives an operatic and beautifully detailed performance of this gorgeous debut… Her performance feels like a kind of time travel as she brings each place and time period to life.”

—Glassworks by Olivia Wolfgang-Smith, Kirkus Reviews

  • “Katherine Littrell's sultry voice is as luscious and irresistible as Patrick's prose”

    — Mrs S by K Patrick, Kirkus Reviews

  • “The voice acting deserves special mention here. It’s rare for a game to deliver performances that feel this natural, but Go Home Annie excels in this department.”

    — Game 8

  • “Katherine Littrell hits every comedic and dramatic note in her narration of this family saga... Littrell paints clear and beautiful pictures as her American, Southern, and Australian accents add to the appeal of the story.”

    — Dog of the North by Elizabeth McKenzie, Kirkus Reviews
